Hey Arnie, I just came across your channel and I’ve already watched over a dozen of your videos. 😃 Yep I’m a newbie, I just bought my first e-bike and thanks to people like yourself I felt very comfortable and confident with my decision to choose the right e-bike. 🚴⚡️💨 I wish I could have found your channel sooner, I wish I had learned about e-bikes much much earlier… What a view of Yakima Valley , I hope sometime soon maybe maybe I’ll get a chance to ride Crusher Canyon by e-bike. I'm an old guy w an action cam, Nikon P1000, Hover X1, n E MTB. Get on up to Spokane/CDA, n we'll do the Hiawatha Trail. Top 10 in the USA.

2024 update, your entire journey can be ridden on all trail, no streets until 7 mile for a short distance. Trail is better marked now. Ya went the wrong side over the bridge.

I live nearby and try to ride it every day when the weather cooperates. 33:41 this crossing always amuses me as it tells people on the trail to stop for golfers going from one side of the golf course to the other. Only once in the 8 years I've ridden this trail have I come up to a golf cart going across as i approached, and the driver waved me through. We did joke about trains having to stop for golfers crossing back when this was a rail line before going our separate ways.

Thanks for this! Doing the Gorge Ride event tomorrow, which starts in The Dalles and ends just east of Hood River - so further east then you ride, but it gave me a good feel on what I might expect. What a beautiful state we live in!

Your video has motivated me to add this to our route. Can I have your help figuring out how to get back to my plans? I am 62. My son is 27. I am meeting him in Portland and we were going to bike to Eugene and then pick up the Transamerica Trail there. After seeing this video, I would like to take this trail to Hood River and then try to go south to pick up the Transamerica perhaps down by Prineville that way we could see Mount Hood. I hear 26 south of Mount Hood is not the best for cycling… How would you get to Prineville please and thank you

It’s a shame that all of cycles who ride bicycles have to put up with all of you riding motorcycles, yea I know you call them pedal electric but the electric part is a electric motor, motorcycles glad your haveing a fun time pust everyone else over so you travel alone at 20 mph not ones peddling or you start peddling then hit the that thumb lever and away you go. And yes I do have a pedel electric trike but I remove the motor to ride dirt trails. Most trails have a speed limit of 15 mph. Be ware of me I drive a velomobiel, no motor, just my legs. We velomobiel’ers can ride as fast as we want, depending on the speed limit, we all so curious to all other using the bicycle trails.

You were in the Tri-Cities! Try the Sacajawea Trail. It’s a 25 mile loop around the Columbia River. It can be extended to reach the mouth of the Snake River. Great path!

It's almost impressive that an 8 minute video about a bike trailer has like 60 seconds of footage of the actual bike trailer.

Hi there, good review of the cube, after much research i purchased the Cube Nuride Hybrid Pro 500 Allroad, a couple of weeks ago for my needs, really well made ebike, the Bosch motors seem to be strong.

I pedal my Trek Allant Plus S7 with the Burley Coho XC trailer for grocery shopping and other errands because my vehicle parks during the warmer months. Works great!

See i got these and really didnt like them, i think they were possibly to big, it just constantly felt like my feet werent on them even when i was dead centre on them. I ended up going for some really decent shimano ones instead, are you still running them? Im curious how they are holding up months later

That Dallas Rd of W. Richland is a tough ride. Benton County turn a shoulder into a bike path out there to get some special credit for sure. To mix that trail in with the Badger Mt trail is the difference between night and day. Stay on water when you ride here and watch which neighborhoods you get off at. I can get an easy 40 miles on good riverfront trail. Goto Sacajawea Park and start from there next time..

I live in center of Richland and I make a 20 mile route just around the city including what u did here. The Sail is there because that big blue crane equipment right by there is the spot Lampson Crane brings most the Nuclear Sub Reactor core to store at Hanford. Richland was a dystopia city government created by the military in support of housing people to build the many reactors at Hanford. Much of that secrecy still exist in many of city governments here today.

We live in Richland. Do a nice 15 mile loop from our house. Takes us into Chamna nature preserve, to Columbia park, past Howard Amon Park to Leslie Grove and home. It’s a great early morning, evening ride. Nice job!

Nice product; cheap bag where adapters jangle around, scratch the pump and fall out unexpectedly. Every damn electric pump (and other devices) I have seen has this problem.

Could this fit on a fat tire ebike you expand depending what you need ?

I can't thank you enough for putting this together and sharing it!! I am recently retired and my wife and I have been looking forward to doing more ebiking. We have one challenge with the sport as I must pull my adult daughter with a disability in a large trailer. As a result, trails for us must wide, paved or graded well, and in a place where there are no cars. Videos like yours help people like me know if a ride is even feasible. It looks highly likely that we could do a trip to Oregon (we love that state) with segments of the Historic Columbia River Hwy, Banks-Vernonia, and trails around Eugene and Cottage Grove.
